Interesting post. I was wondering if you know where Ibnul Qayyim (raheemahullah) took this from? And if any scholars from the salaf have mentioned similar statements?

May Allah reward you with good. This is a very good question mashaAllah. This is the hadith.
 
إن الإبل خلقت من الشياطين و إن وراء كل بعير شيطانا
 حسن  انظر حديث رقم : 1579 في صحيح الجامع للشيخ الألباني رحمه الله
Verily the camel is created from the devils and behind every camel is a devil
Shaykh Albani declared this hadith to be hasan
