I think there is an error in the translation. It says, "...and their knowledge that Allaah does not accept that (action) which is done purely for His face and correctly in accordance with the Sunnah of His Messenger from actions." It seems to be a typo. Rather it should say "...and their knowledge that Allaah does not accept that (action) except (that) which is done purely for His face and correctly in accordance with the Sunnah of His Messenger from actions," or something to that effect.
